Any test biks got one fitted Tim? Quite fancy one but would like to try one out first. I've always been a keep your seat post in one place type of guy. Then did a Cycleactive Weekend in the Lakes and they persuaded us to try lowering our posts for a pretty technical & steep descent (to my mind anyway) and it worked, though it did feel weird. It's amazing how much one must use yer bum/upper thighs to guide the bike via the sticky uppy seatpost.

Nope - it's either up, or down. It's actually a lot quicker in real life too. The fact that there's no weight on it in the video makes it look like it's dead slow, which it isn't.

Weird little video, does the post have any "suspension" characteristics, like an office chair does?
