		<description>Well, the belt drive is a good thing - I personally think it has a little bit more developement to undergo before it&#039;s ready for the real world, but you can guarantee that there will be belt drive ranges from everybody next year.</description>

We all know how and where we want to ride, we&#039;ve all got a bike that does it OK and most bits on it don&#039;t wear out too quickly.

So, a good thing then.

The same happened in windsurfing, as the rate of change in kit slowed down (rapid change only means that last years big idea was found to be wrong).  

Mass market brands fight each other over smaller  and smaller innovations to make customers want to upgrade to this years kit, but the boutique suppliers do well, as do the retailers who are still in touch with what their customers actually do.

So keep up the night rides, and get yerself back over to the lovely Chase :o)</description>
