That’s today out the way…

I’ve done todays ride – to the stables and beyond again. Going well so far.

It counts…

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

The official rules state that each ride must be at least one hour. So one hour and 40 seconds on the frikin turbo trainer on my frikin fixie counts.

I did ride today, although I thought I might not be able to. Just as I was supposed to sit down and eat my tea, I decided it’s now or never, so I hopped on the Voodoo and headed out. Round the lanes a bit and then onto the Macclesfield canal, back to the Trent and Mersey and finally home. Lots of wet mud, lots of thorns and still no punctures.

Six folks around the slightly damp woods – great fun.

Hoho, I know what you’re thinking…

But you’re wrong. I did ride again today – 9/9. I went the wrong way and ended up dicing with homewardbound commuters though, I’ll try not to do that again.

Into the woods tomorrow – yippee!

Rode a little with Ian the Carpet, which was nice. Just local lanes, but enough for me.

Thanks Ian.

There’s no such thing as bad weather…

And it’s much easier to avoid bad clothing when you’re riding on the road. Todays ride was nice and easy, in the snow, but why is there always a head wind?

6/6 – can this keep on going?

I took advantage of a slow day in the shop and quiet roads to get out again today. Crossing the A500 on foot has never been so easy.

That’s 5/5 so far…
