And tonight we will be riding from Keele. Call for details.

Even though I feel like crap, I have taken a leaf out of Tim’s book and commenced a 30 rides in 30 days, 30 mins minimum. Therefore I shall be there even if it’s only to do half an hour round the campus.
Yay.
May even drop in at dinner time.
Laters!

Doubtful for me as I still have this fracking cold.

I’ve just started a cold and got hayfever too, but gotta do my 30mins!
Not knocking you Dave - normalling the slightest thing puts me off but even though it is now raining I am determined not to miss a ride in my first week! I even got up at 6 yersterday AM to do my ride before heading off to Kent on a job. I must be serious! Wonder how long it’ll last. Just know that as soon as I let myself miss one that it’ll be the whole plan down the tubes.

Well it’s chucking it down with rain at the moment (3pm) looks bloody awful out there, lets hope the weather improves otherwise it’s another bottle of wine night!

Hmmm I concur Mark. For all my big talk in the shop at dinnertime, if it stays like it is at present I won’t be turning up. Don’t mind a bit showery but hooning down at moment. If I’m riding I will be there and all ready to ride before 19:30. Therefore if I’m not there when you’re ready to start I ain’t gonna be! Bugger 30/30/30 fubared at 5/30? Just have to do double tomorrow! (Though probably do a road ride tonight. Can’t be arsed with getting in all grapped up at night. 30 mins on road just be a quick hose off though and early doors too.
Anyway fingers crossed it buggers off and I come out and play!

Well, no change with the weather then, looks crap!
I must be getting too old for this game, slightest sign of miserable weather and that bottle comes calling.
Tim the red one has called me yet again. I think i’ll go for a run just to feel good about the bottle of wine tonight.
Have a good ride for you serious jaunters out there, i’ll keep to the fair weather, good for my complexion!

Sod it - we’ll call it off for this week and stay out twice as long next.

An hour?

Right decision for last night Tim.
Bottle of wine went down well but feeling dog rough this morning. Good job works not busy.
Catch you later.

Glad I didn’t miss out in the end. Laid up a treat so my 30/30/30 is going tits up. Not very pleased. Was definately (and still am) too rough to have ridden. Will make a concerted effort for next Thurs, assuming it’s Keele again.
Now do I restart my 30/30/30 when I feel better OR press on and see how many days I do manage out of the 30? The latter seems the logical option so I can review my “performance” and set a new goal in light of the results.
Ciao for now!

Andy,
How’s your 30/30/30 going, hope progress is being made?
Keep up the good work we all need some bit of inspiration.
