Test fit in the Pugsley reveals:-
It’s lovely. With a single up front you could run it SS or 1×9 happily. There’s room to play about with spacers and adjust your chainline accordingly and you can fit a spider for triple or double duties. It’ll work brilliantly with an Alfine hub.

It doesn’t come with a BB, so you can use any RaceFace, King, Shimano, Phil Wood or whatever other HTII’s there are out there.
Cost depends on ring/spider options, but figure around £250.
These might be of interest if you’re building a fat bike and need a versatile 100mm BB option. Takes a spider so you can run it with one two or three rings, uses any standard HTII BB and is made in the UK!
What’s not to like?
Well, it’s finally out in the open, so I can now post something.
Maverick has been bought back by Paul Turner, (the guy who started it and invented Rockshox ). As yet, I have noida what his plans are, but my best guess would be licensing the designs to other manufacturers. What this means temporarily is that we can’t get hold of spares. We can still service forks and rear shocks and have some small parts, but how long that lasts I don’t know.
Word here when I get it, stay tuned!

A long standing customer finally decided that he really should have two bikes for his commute, one workhorse and one special bike. Here’s the special one.
It’s a Salsa Vaya, with super sturdy wheels, 105 running gear, Ultegra flat bar shifters, Avid BB7 brakes and I reckon it looks superb. Hope he’s happy with it!
