Where did November come from?

How the heck did we get to November all of a sudden? It’s still summer out there. O.K. the trees seem to think it’s time for a change of season, but the seasons don’t seem to agree – what have we done to the world?

I was walking the dogs this morning in a T shirt and a pair of shorts, at 07:30 on the 1st of November – in England. How fucked up is that? It should be frosty or icy or snowing, not be sunny and warm. Roll on winter – sometime in July probably.

It’s just like summer outside at the moment, did get very muddy riding in this morning though. I’m waiting for snow 🙂

I think the wind blew all the leaves off the trees rather than the trees deciding to let go of them.

Still, the extra hours daylight in a morning means that early rides (with hipflask) are now go!

Today was the first day I’ve had to wear a waterproof to keep warm; I’ve been in short sleeves until now. Mad.
