We’re away for a week, culminating in the SSUK06 Champs. Ag will be here a bit, but if there’s no reply and the phone keeps a ringing – sorry.
We’re back Monday the thingy of wotsit, after that it’ll be business as unusual.

Well, that was a long day. Started at 07:30 witha few emails and ended at 01:12 with a fork service. Built lots of wheels, built few bikes, interacted with some nice folk. Sold a really nice bike to a really nice man who has a lot of shit on his plate right now. I hope it works out for him in the end.
I’m getting ready for a visit from a Canadian friend, by praticing my ‘drinking Jim Beam and Coke’ technique right now.
Back to Delamere again. Woop.
If I can make it I will, but if there’s too much to do, I wont.
Hopefully see you there.
So it’s becoming common knowledge that Spot Brand has undergone some changes. Founder, Michael, is up and away and the whole shebang has been moved from Vancouver to Golden, Colorado. When I first heard this news, I was deeply saddened, but on reflection I think it will be a good thing. The company has been transfered to the capable hands of a team including Frank Skurlock, Cristina Begy and Don (2:30am phone calls) Nelson. All these are good people and we look forward to working with them. I’m happy to say that Jessica is staying board too.
Best wishes to the good ship Spot and all who sail in her.
What a great place Afan is for riding. If you’ve not been there, then stop what you’re doing and go, now. Do it.
The trails are ace, wet or dry, the facilites are grand and if you stay at the Bryn Bettws Cabins, you’re based half way along the Wall trail, at the top of a bonzer descent.
Be sure to tell them Sideways Cycles sent you and they’ll let you use the pool table if it rains.
It’s right spadley, I tell thee.
Too much to do in order to get ready for a weekends riding in Afan. Sorry and all that – feel free to organize something amongst yourselves.
And why not?
We’re sat on a pile of frames waiting to build them into bikes for folks. There’s an Indy Fab 29er, that we’re waiting for rims to arrive, there’s a Turnip 5 Spot that needs a front hub to turn up, there’s a Tuna Highline that we need a rear hub for and there’s a hybrid that we need some mudguards for. All held up by the lack of a few simple bits. It annoys me that we’re so poor at stock control, but hey – that’s the way it is.
Sorry for the delays people.
What a great shop we have across the road. Not only does it have loads of cheap wine and beer, snacks and everyday essentials, it also has a brand new 13 camera CCTV system, two of which are able to see the whole of our shop front. They record 24/7 – so we get a little peace of mind and it costs us nowt.
That really is a bargain!
Lets all go to lovely Hanchurch. It’s great.
Call or mail for details and shite.
