We have Salsa Mukluks available for a while anyway – what makes them good?

You build one, then another comes along. Similar to the Vaya below, here’s a Singular Peregrine, with 105, Avid brakes and super sturdy Hope/Halo wheelset.
Nice!

Here’s an odd one…

A long standing customer finally decided that he really should have two bikes for his commute, one workhorse and one special bike. Here’s the special one.
It’s a Salsa Vaya, with super sturdy wheels, 105 running gear, Ultegra flat bar shifters, Avid BB7 brakes and I reckon it looks superb. Hope he’s happy with it!

Spend your time wisely

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

A man who I’m proud to consider a friend died unexpectedly on Sunday 9/10/11.
Chris Mearns was the very definition of a gentleman and a scholar, always up for a ride, ready to discuss any topic with a breadth of knowledge that was frankly staggering, the kind of bloke who spent his days with a twinkle in his eye and a pair of Blundstone’s on his feet.

He died of a heart attack, riding his bike with pals.

Spend your time wisely people, there’s not enough of it to go around.

RIP Chris, you will be long remembered.
